I got a letter in the mail. How do I participate in the survey?

If you got a letter in the mail with a personalized QR code and link, you can participate simply by scanning the QR code with your smart phone camera or typing in the link into any browser. From there, simply follow the instructions on the screen.

When I scan the QR code provided, it takes me to a page saying the survey is closed. What should I do?

Unfortunately, due to budget limitations, we are only able to offer compensation to a select number of participants. If you are greeted with a screen saying the survey is closed, it is likely we hit our quota for your particular survey.

Will I really get paid for completing these surveys?

Yes! Our partners require top-notch information about how Americans receive and process the advertising and media they see every day, so they’re willing to pay respondents for their time to ensure quality results.

Paying respondents to complete market research surveys is nothing new, and taking surveys for a small amount of money has long been recognized as an excellent way to earn a little extra cash. Here’s a quote from a recent article in TIME magazine:

“Nobody gets rich from online surveys, but they can be fun if you want to earn a small amount of money without doing much work.”

We’re pleased to offer competitive compensation rates for our surveys, because we know our panelists’ time and input is worth it.

I finished my survey, but haven't yet received my reward. Where is it?

Thank you for contributing to our research! Our team verifies each entry to confirm completion and eligibility for payment. In almost all cases, payments are made within 5 business days of entries being received. If you haven't received your payment after 5 business days, please reach out to us at help@verifiedopinionstudies.com.

What kind of political mail and handouts can I upload?

At Verified Opinion Studies, we're interested in collecting all sorts of political and election-related printed materials. Of course, this includes campaign flyers supporting or opposing a candidate or ballot issue, mail encouraging you to vote, and letters asking you for political donations. This also includes official notices and election-related mail (including blank ballots or ballot envelopes, if you vote by mail) that may come from a local or state election authority.

You may also receive mail that's not overtly political, but still carries a political message of some kind. That includes information meant to influence your opinion about an organization (such as a union or corporation), or any other issue that's in the public eye. When in doubt, upload it!

What we don't need to see are catalogues and advertisements for services or products that have nothing to do with politics, campaigns, or elections. If you have questions, just email us at help@verifiedopinionstudies.com, and we'll do our best to help you.

How do I receive my reward? Is it safe?

We work with a number of trustworthy partners to disperse compensation to our panelists. The details of your compensation offer, including how compensation will be distributed, will be available to review at the beginning of your study.

Please note: we will never ask you for your bank account number, social security number, credit card number, or any other sensitive financial information. Please never give that information to anyone who says they’re associated with Verified Opinion Studies or anyone else who you do not know and trust.

Why are you interested in mail advertising?

Much of our current research does center on mail advertising and other printed communications.

As more and more people are inundated with more and more digital ads, many advertisers are moving away from email and returning their focus to mail advertising. The increase in mail advertising has generated interest in what mail is being sent, and who is sending it. This “competitive intelligence” is valuable enough to our partners that we can afford to compensate our panelists (people like you!) to provide it.

I signed up for your waitlist, but I haven’t heard anything yet. When will I be selected?

We appreciate your enthusiasm for our research! Unfortunately, we aren’t able to give timelines for future studies, and some people who sign up may not end up being selected.

Studies are usually highly targeted on factors that include demographics such as age, sex, and geography. If you are on our waitlist and seem like a good candidate, we will reach out to you with details.
